NymTrace 1.0.12 — Research Preview Before you begin 1. NymTrace provides local de-identification/pseudonymization for medical research data. It is not proof of irreversible anonymization, clinical diagnostic software, or a compliance certification. 2. The macOS package supports macOS 12+ on Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4). It is ad-hoc signed and has not been notarized with Apple Developer ID. 3. The Windows package supports Windows 10/11 x64. It is not Authenticode-signed and has not completed clean native Windows, Defender, or SmartScreen acceptance testing. 4. Do not disable operating-system security controls or run untrusted “bypass security” commands. Install - macOS: fully extract the ZIP, then move NymTrace.app to Applications. - Windows: fully extract the ZIP, keep NymTrace.exe beside the _internal folder, then run the EXE. Do not run it inside the ZIP. Use 1. Drop source files or folders into NymTrace and wait for the sensitive-data categories actually found in this batch to appear. 2. Keep the detected categories selected, choose an output location outside the source tree, and run local de-identification. 3. Give an authorized analysis tool only the “2_NymTrace_脱敏后完整数据_可分析” folder. 4. “1_NymTrace_脱敏对应表_禁止上传.xlsx” contains sensitive originals. Keep it only on an authorized local device or institution-approved controlled storage. 5. To restore NymTrace codes in an Agent result, select the correspondence table and result files on the local Restore page. Save restored output in a controlled directory and never upload it.
